WP ecommerce issues

I’m trying to setup an acceptable wordpress CMS using the wp ecommerce plugin as a shopping cart. Unfortunately, we keep running into issues.

One of them is that I can’t seem to edit the checkout form. I want to delete form fields we’re not using, but they keep coming back up.

I’ve also tried creating a new custom form, but I can’t find out how to get wp-ecommerce to use it.

Those issues are annoying, but what’s really difficult is the following bugs in my installation.

– one of the tags automatically gets a hypersand ‘ added.
– I can’t edit the category pages. See the following screenshot:

The $100 reward is for suggestions to solve to the last two. This is with wp 3.01 and w-ecommerce 3.7.6.9

I’m at my wits end and hope people can help me. For now the conclusion is that unfortunately, wp ecommerce is not ready as a professional webshop.
