wp easy gallery pro image upload error

I just bought the pro version. When I try to do the bulk upload I get the following error: directory doesn’t exist and could not be created.

I deleted the free plugin, galleries, images, etc. Still did not work.

I deleted the pro plugin, galleries, images, etc. I reinstalled only the pro gallery. I still get the same error when using the bulk upload. I have way too many images to put them in one at a time. I’m running Avada as a child theme. Suggestions?
