WP E-Commerce [shoppingcart] shortcode does not work

I created a new page and added the [shoppingcart] shortcode to the page. For the visual tab, I see an image that says, “do not remove this image unless you know what you are doing” and I have not touched this. I saved the new page, went over to the product page and clicked on the “add to cart” button. When I go to the shopping cart page I created, I keep getting a blank page. Do I need to add the shortcode using the do_shortcode function. I am very confused over this one, any help would be greatly appreciated.
