On the home page there is a a custom products view that comes up when a user clicks on Latest Products tab on the home page banner. Home page banners are managed using a custom NextGEN Gallery to SlideShowPro bridge to manage the home banner and clickable page links from it.
Uploaded all 150+ products in one swoop using the Mass Product Importer Standard for WP E-Commerce. Prices are calculated by a custom pricing function that takes the supplier cost price in USD, adds a fixed profit percentage on cost prices and then uses live USD to AUD currency conversion.
Also enabled category count on the Product Category widgets and added a Permalink field on the Category Add/Edit page to enable me to customise category URL's (e.g. /products/vandalproof/ -> Vandalproof Security Cameras).
