I just installed wp e-commerce and purchased the Gold cart upgrade for my site, http://www.eyeglowreader.com/shop .

I have added two products, no problem, but when I go to http://www.eyeglowreader.com/shop, I can click the "Add to Cart" button, but when I click the "Checkout"... there is no checkout page http://eyeglowreader.com/products-page/checkout/, there is no http://eyeglowreader.com/products-page/ page, there is no http://eyeglowreader.com/products-page/transaction-results/ page.

Are these suppose to be automatically generated pages on installation or... are these posts I am suppose to create with tags in them?? I have searched and searched online for answers, but I'm totally at a lose.

We were hoping to go live with this site... yesterday. Could you please help!! Thanks.

They're normally created on plugin activation. You can try deactivating and reactivating the plugin and it should recreate them.

Failing that, check that they're not in the Trash (WP Admin > Pages > Trash) - or published as "Private"

Thank you so much for your reply. That is exactly what I did. I had deleted these pages when I was testing a different shopping cart plugin. Then when I re-installed, the installation did not re-create these pages and I couldn't find the tags to recreate them myself. So... I installed Wp ecommerce fresh on a different site of mine. On installaction/activation those pages were created with the appropriate tags (ie [productspage]). I copied them and recreated these pages. Bingo. It works. Thanks for brainstorming with me.

I had this problem...... but it was because I had the 'products page' as a subdirectory of another page.

Once I made it it's own page all the 'checkout' and 'completed order' pages appeared.

    Hope his helps.

wordpress e-commerce doesn't actually uninstall itself when it 'uninstalls'. The plugin files are deleted, but it does not wipe out its data/configuration from the database.

This means you acutally have to manually drop the relevant tables if you have a messed up configuration that you're trying to reset to the defaults.

Also, it won't delete the pages it created, so if you delete but don't empty the trash it will think they're still there when you re-install the plugin.

My request for the admins / owners:
Make the uninstall wipe down the database so that re-installing actually restores the initial settings.
Make the uninstall remove the tags/flags on the pages, so that new ones are created if you re-install.

I have set up wp-ecommerce using the weaver template and am having a problem with checkout. I can get to the paypal gateway with the "buy now" button, but i cant get the shopping cart to work. i can add to the shopping cart, and the item will show up in the side bar display of shopping cart contents, but i can not checkout. when i click "check out" the page that comes up is blank. I suspect this something simple, but it escapes me. Thanks
