  • this is how I got it to work….download the plugin to your computer, FTP only the “wp-shoppingcart” file to your content/plugins folder. This should make the plugin available when you go back into your admin.

    you are an angel. I have been trying for days to get this to work right. I have uploaded it and removed it and tried so many different things. This simple suggestion worked! Why they don’t put this in there when you download it, I dont know. But thank you!

    I’m glad it helped!

    It actually tells you how to do this in the readme file that comes with it. I suppose some people don’t read the readme file properly.

    Am I being condenscending? Not at all.

    I DID actually read the readme file but obviously not close enough, because I did exactly the same as you kic1986. I even tried in on another server and still couldn’t get it to show up in the plugins section of either of my blogs. It was only when I searched for a solution in the forums and found this thread that I became aware of the solution, got annoyed, went back to the readme file to see why they didn’t state this and saw that they did in fact state it, there it is plain and simple:

    == Installation ==

    1. Upload the folder ‘wp-shopping-cart’ to the ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory
    2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress

    tsk tsk tsk.
