Hi, I've been looking for a plugin or a way to change the WP default email that is sent to new users.

    By default it looks like:
    Your username is: xxxxxx
    Your password is: xxxxxxx
You can now log in: http://yourwebsite.com/wp-login.php

I would like to customize that, it its possible.

    Thanks in advance

    Hello,

You can use the Theme My Login (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/theme-my-login/) plugin. It creates a page that handles your login and a stylesheet file. You can edit those as a regular WordPress theme in order to integrate them in your design.

Just as a follow-up that plugin handles both the emails your site sends and the login screen. You can create completely customisable HTML messages and send them to your visitors upon registration, password reset etc.
