   Hello ALL and Happy Independence Day to you if you are in the States!

   I see this topic "wp-db.php on line 487" has been around the block, but I have not seen the issue I am running into. I have no way of logging into my http://www.website.com/wp-admin screen. So I tried the ftp client way and it keeps giving me this:

   Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
   Response: 220 DreamHost FTP Server
   Command: USER admin
   Response: 331 Password required for admin.
   Command: PASS *********
   Response: 530 Login incorrect.
   Error: Critical error
   Error: Could not connect to server

   Now, I know I have entered my user name and pw correctly. I have followed this link: http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_FileZilla to a T.

   So, what is next? I need to get this site up tomorrow and any help will be greatly appreciated. This late night google searching this error and pulling my high/tight hair is coming to an end using this software. But, this is no personal attack, more of a slap in my face not knowing code to its fullest!

   Contact your web host about your ftp login and password, they are not the same as your WordPress ones.

   Added: ftp, WordPress, and your database login passwords are all different. Also see:
