Hello,
I've been using WP for six months and found out that my DB is over 4GB!
I'm not doing anything crazy. One author, two or three posts a day, one picture, that's it.
With these tables being the bigger ones:
_options 2.1 MiB
_posts 1.5 MiB
_postmeta 555KiB
Is this typocal wordpress DB size for a 6month old baby ;)?
2.1MB + 1.5MB + 555KB is just over 4MB, not 4GB. Is there something else in your database?
Otherwise, your tables are NOT really that big.
MB = megabytes
GB = gigabytes
Also note you might want to consider repairing or optimizing your tables via phpMyAdmin.
