wp-cron.php server overload

Just received this from my host (they are very good so can’t knock them).

“We would also like to bring to your attention a potential issue with your site – our server management staff have noticed an increasing load being generated by your site due to the use of the wordpress wp-cron.php

we would request that you please address this before your resource usage reaches a level (which it is not far from) where action bay need to be taken towards your account to prevent further issues, many thanks.”

I am shared hosting. the website is:

Any ideas to sort this please. should i disable plugins, if so which ones?
