   After using my wordpress website for many months, I realized that I can not change the file permissions on the wp-cron file.

   That creates problems with some plugins and programs, hence I first tried the following:

   - Deleting all backup plugins (They use wp-cron intensively)
   - Using wp-monitor plug-in to delete the old dated tasks/jobs waiting in the queue

   I am not sure what else to do. I can not still delete, rename or replace the wp-cron file (permission shown as 00).

   Is reinstalling my WordPress files a possible solution? Any comments or alternative solution?
