After my site had a 500 Internal Server Error this morning I discovered that WP is generating a 2GB error log. I opened it up and it lists the same errors over and over. I copied them below - any idea what is causing them?

    Thank you for your help!

Something is wrong with your PHP installation or php.ini file. It's trying to load extensions that are either not there or are corrupt. I'd alert your hosting provider.

Thanks for your reply sojweb! I will email this to my hosting company and see what they say.

Are there any other possibilities for what's causing the error? I spoke with a customer service rep this afternoon and he said it was probably a WordPress error...

No, those are definitely PHP errors. It's trying to load extensions it can't find; it has nothing to do with WordPress. Looks like they might have re-configured PHP but used an old php.ini file.

When you e-mail them be sure to include these errors so that they can see what they are.

Try to commented the extension = "homeloader.so" and it might help.

    How I solved the problem:

I went to PHP Config, in CPanel, and restored my php.ini master file clicking on "install php.ini master file". Then it's created a file in your public_html home directory called php.ini.default I just made a backup of the old php.ini file, and renamed php.ini.default to php.ini.

After that, I went to the directories where broken WP instances were installed and renamed their own php.ini files to php.ini.back so the main php.ini file is used instead.

    That's it. Hope it helps.
