   I am on 3.1.3, Thesis 1.8, and the plugin is not filtering the words. It just let's them through.

   The only thing that I can think of that might possibly conflict is WP Edit Comments.

   Have you tried disabling the Plugin to see if the problem persists?

   I have updated the function prefix in the latest version. This might help.
