   Okay, I'll try to make this simple.

   I changed my MySQl database password within my Godaddy Account area. Since then I can't access my website, at all; either as admin or visitor.

   Godaddy suggested updating the wp-config file with the new password which hasn't solved the problem.

   As of now I get a 500-Internal Server Error Problem.

   This all stems from me trying to get XAMPP working on my Vista PC which is kind of a pain.

   are you trying to access a database on godaddy's servers from your xampp on your pc? generally godaddy doesn't allow outside access to their mysql servers.
