• Very weird: Writing posts is OK, writing pages is OK, but when people want to comment on a post, they press the SUBMIT button and nothing happens for a while. After that, the browser returns an errorpage, claiming the server can’t be found.

It worked fine, nothing changed since then, server is up and running OK (pages load fast, writing posts is no problem)

    Any suggestion?

Try posting a comment with all plugins deactivated.

I don’t have any plugin active… I disabled any option in the “Discussion” part of the admin-pages that I could find (no e-mail to me, don’t check on input fields etc) but it didn’t help… wp-comments-post.php simply won’t load, it seems.

When I try to load it directly in the browser, it seems to load ok, no errormessages, just an empty page 🙂

    Bart:
Could you post a link to the site showing this problem?

I will then have a look and see if i can see what is going wrong.

Does the comment still get posted, though?

i wonder if i do not have a quite similar problem
    http://historyze.org/wp-comments-post.php
    does’nt appear
    i had a comment, one
at that time, i tried to gie an answerbut it didn’t work
(would this have happened because i one, or twice, deactivated (désactivé…) the comments
(the comment i tried to post never got posted)
