wp-chunk gracefully shortens URLs within submitted comments.
I located two other plugins that claimed to do this but neither worked.

Until such time that bug 2889 is completely taken care of I will not be making this plugin available for download. While the plugin works as expected, I dont wish to complicate matters for anyone that might be confused if/when they run across the bug, and then end up thinking its the plugin.
On the page I mention abovethere is a link to fix for the bug - anyone interested in downloading the plugin MUST have made the neccessary changes to thier functions-formatting.php before I'll share an updated version with them.
Its way too hard for me to test a plugin for use on a broken site, on a site thats not broken (mine) anymore.

Updated to V1.2:
Ive incoporated the bug fix into the plugin. It now does 2 things.
