    Hi,

Over the last 3 weeks I had the pleasure of developing a photoblog for a photographer. My work made heavy use of the ever-popular XMLHTTPRequest/AJAX that's all buzz these days.

Please have a look at http://shahin.ca/foto and let me know what you think.

    Thanks.

That is so nice! It feels integrated, not some dodgy add-on.

WOW, this is amazing and exactly the type of thing I want to do for my blog. Any chance on you sharing the code for this. I would be blessed if you would.

Very impressive, just what I have been looking for. I've just started trying to build a photo blog, with an emphasis on the photo handling capabilities. If you need a tester, I'm all yours!

I like it a lot, so don't take this wrong. I have one minor and hopefully constructive criticism. I have to scroll down to see the photos at a 1024x768 screen resolution. With a photoblog, I expect the center of attention to be the photos, so I kind of expect the photos to be above the fold.

What about moving the title and links to a sidebar so the photos move up into full view. Or even moving most of the other stuff to the footer?

Using Firefox 1.04 at 1024x768 screen resolution on Windows XP, in case that matter.

Nice looking. Can you say exactly which plugin you used?

I developed the plugins myself which took a considerable amount of time and unfortunately it will not be released for free in the near future. I am however available for development work on a contract basis.
