Hello ! I'm having a big problem lately with my blog : http://www.teoblog.com . Last weekend my hosting provider switched servers and now when I try to access my blog I see the installation page and if I try to install it again it doesn't work.
Is there a way to recuperate my posts even if I don't have a xml backup of the whole thing ? The data and sql database is still there...
Please help me !
Well if the data and db are there - then wp will ask to re-install if its not configured properly - check your wp-config file to see if its correct settings for db.

thank's hotkee for your reply. my wp-config it's ok. and if i try to reinstall it aftel filling the blogname and my e-mail I receive a 404 error.
I asked my hosting company to do a backup restore from a backup they had from before the maintenance they did last weekend and it didn't work, it keeps asking me to reinstall wp.
anyone has another idea ?
Not sure - but the install page looks odd, no background images etc.
Did your host move from apache to IIS ?

it was on ISS from the begining
Well you could go for the ultimate solution - take a backup yourself of your directory, install a complete fresh copy of wp files, point it to the db concerned and see what happens. My suspicion would be that some files are missing.
