   I am wondering...has anyone heard anything about integrating WP and a portal?

   "Portal" as in phpNuke or some such? Not that I know of - I was thinking about it at one point, then decided I'd rather just feed posts when/where I wanted them and not plan out a whole section of a portal page for wp....

   You might check on the phpBB boards, or at sites like phpBBhacks.com - I have seen posts about this sort of thing, but never really pursued it myself....
