   Hi I'm having trouble running the installer script. In Safari I get the message (Sorry this site is not available), and in Firefox it takes me through to the forum. Is there a problem with installation at the moment. I installed yesterday with no problems.

   Same here. I was installing about 40 minutes ago and the install page wasn't found. I wonder what is happening.

   I'm trying to install WordPress on my server to run the blog from there instead of linking to wordpress.com when I run the installer script as I have before on other sites I keep getting this message (Site is not available). I have set everything up as in the 5min Instillation guide. Any ideas?

   I have uploaded the files to the "/" directory.

   When I try to run the install.php I get the following error message:

   The requested URL /wp-admin/install.php was not found on this server.

   I can't even get to the readme.html file.

   Any ideas?

   if you can't get the readme.html then you're not installed in the correct place

    no - sorry not familiar with them
    has your domain name had time to propagate? It can take up to 24 hours.

    I will try again over the weekend and see if anything comes to life. I take it there is no problems at your end?

    don't use safari. Use firefox
