    Hi,

We have a custom post that includes Google Maps using this plugin.

After the upgrade to 2.2.4, the frontend is showing the maps (with appropriate locaiton marked), however, if I go to the admin. side (i.e. edit for the custom post), I see the Google Maps fields but all the values are now blank.

The admin. section uses https. This was the case before the upgrade and it had worked before.

Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions you can provide.

To add to the above, I tested further and created a new post and filled out the Google Maps fields and the map appeared fine at the address specified; however, after I saved the post, the fields went all blank too. The frontend didn’t show an appropriate map with location marked.

    I can’t reproduce this problem with the following setup;

    • WordPress 3.5.1
    • Pronamic Google Maps 2.2.4
    • Twenty Twelve 1.1

Is everything up to date in your installation?

    Hi Remco,

    Yes.

    • WordPress 3.5.1
    • Pronamic google Maps 2.2.4
    • Custom theme
    • Multisite set-up
    • Custom Content Type Manager plugin 0.9.7

Would it matter if I’m on a dev. server (test site)? I access it by updating my local hosts file to point the same domain to the test server.

When I start a new post, filling out the Google Map fields, the map and location is marked correctly in the backend; however, all values disappear, once I publish/save the custom post.

One more thing to add. The wp-admin side is secured w/ SSL.

I can confirm that the issue does not exist prior to the Pronamic Google Maps upgrade.

I just tested the Pronamic Google Maps on an https://*/wp-admin/ environment.

Do you see any errors (debug mode on) while you are editing an post?
