wp-admin page is continuously looping even for valid credentials (6 posts)

    Hi Evryone,

    My wp-admin page is continuously redirecting to the same wp-admin page even for valid credentials. I'm a kinda newbie. Please help me out of this issue. Thanks in advance.

    Try resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin (read http://bit.ly/UhpkLl if you need help). Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
    â—¾switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems. If you can't log in to change themes, you can remove the theme folders via FTP so the only one is twentyeleven. That will force your site to use it.

    I tried renaming plugins folder to plugins.hold but it didn't helped me. Renaming themes folder also didn't helped me.. can you please suggest any other solution to fix dis...

    Is there an error message on the log in screen?

    HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfill the request.

    Try checking your site's error logs for a more specific error message. Your host should be able to help you in accessing your site's error logs.
