WP Admin loading entire site contents before displaying? (2 posts)

    This is so strange. I built out this WP site on Xampp and transferred it to my server. Since then the admin of the new WP site has been SO incredibly laggy. I have another WP site setup and have been comparing the two against each other and timing them with Firebug.

    For some reason the admin of the problem site seems to be loading what a visitor should see, not what I would see; i.e., all the scripts for plugins. I know it's not the plugins because my other site has more plugins than the problem site.

    Here's the link to the screenshot:

    I'm not sure if this screenshot below is the problem;

    but there is a folder in my WP folder on my server that I cannot delete. When I enter the folder it's the same content as the directory above it. Any thoughts on these, and if they are connected?

    The site with the problem is this:

    But are they the same plugins working with the same theme? I'd still suggest deactivating all plugins on the problem site and check to see if this resolves the problem. If it does, activate the plugins one by one - checking the post after each re-activation - until you find the problematic plugin(s).
