    http://diypropertymanagement.com

    I noticed today that when I attempt to log into my site, I am redirected to 127.0.0.1

    http://diypropertymanagement.com/wp-admin/
    or
    http://diypropertymanagement.com/wp-login.php

    I have attempted to disable all of my plugins by renaming each individual plugin directory and I am still encountering this issue. I have attempted to clear my browser cache yet I am still being redirected.

    GET http://diypropertymanagement.com/wp-admin/ HTTP/1.1

    302 -> http://diypropertymanagement.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fdiypropertymanagement.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1

    GET http://diypropertymanagement.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fdiypropertymanagement.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1 HTTP/1.1

    302 -> http://127.0.0.1?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fdiypropertymanagement.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1

    Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

    Do you have WP installed locally? 127.0.0.1 is the IP for your localhost. It is how you can view your web server's pages locally. If this isn't the case then go to settings > general and change the url.

    No this is not a local install, so I cannot access the admin page in any way. The site is up and running and accessible, it is simply the admin page that is no longer accessible.

    This is an installation on shared hosting that has been working fine for the past 9 months.

    You need to get into your general settings and change the site url. You can't type wp-admin and access the panel? Try changing it directly in the DB. May need to reinstall.

    siteurl is set properly in the DB to http://diypropertymanagement.com

    There should be no reason to reinstall as this is obviously being read from somewhere, whether it is within the DB or from a static file....the search will continue.

    So I have been bashing my head in for half of the day trying to figure out what had happened and then I stumbled upon someone else's support question:

    http://wordpress.org/support/topic/all-blogs-wp-loginphp-redirecting-to-localhost?replies=3

    Turns out, my hosting provider did the exact same thing without telling _anyone_!

    This is currently happening on *all* 1&1 websites FYI - if anyone is Googleing this error...

    Cheers andersonenvy, I'm experiencing the same problem on 1and1 at the moment.

    I can reconfirm. Our site StartUpLift is with 1and1 and the redirect to 127.0.0.1 is happening to my logins as well.
