Hi,
I have a problem with my wordpress site. It started yesterday when I logged in to the admin and I saw that my dashboard is all messed up. It looks like the Dashboard is in a some kind of safe mode option.
I looked around the blog and there's a suggestion to take the google analytics script out and so I did.
It worked for a while and then I upgraded my wordpress to 2.9.2 and now the dashboard won't load at all in Firefox. It only loads for a bout 2 seconds and then turned white. In IE, I still can go in and see the dashboard. I'm not a programmer and not sure if my site is hacked or has virus on it. I just know there's something wrong with it. :((
Can someone please help me? Thank you so much.

Oh, I see your site is with Godaddy too. They seem to be a weak link with this type of hack. Coincidence?

Thanks for the reply alism. I guess I will have to start working on fixing the site. By the way, do you have suggestion on better hosting provider? I hope this is not going to happen often with Godaddy because if it is then I may have to move. Thanks again.

Can't really recommend one to you, but I think the basic rule of thumb with shared hosting is you get what you pay for. Oh and maybe it's just me, but if I see "unlimited" anything as part of the deal, it usually says to me "we're overselling this service".
YMMV! :-)

Yeah, I guess you are right on that. By the way Godaddy alsuo suggested that I ran all of this clean up etc on a virtual machine. Do you think I have to do this? Installing a virtual machine on my windows XP laptop? See I'm completely new to this and this all sounds like gibberish to me but I really want to learn and figure out how to fix this and of course prevent this from happening again. Thanks again.
