• I upgrated to 2.8.4 and it´s all right, but when i logon on wp-admin instead of going to the dashboard, it appears the hosting page and said that the requested page was not found.

So i return to my homepage and te edit link at the buttom of a post show up, so i went there and surprise!! the dashboard worked again!! but when i want to go to de dashboard link, or the comments page, it went again to my hosting homepage.

I checked the WP-CONFIG.PHP data and it is all right, the DB Name, DB User, DB Passwrd and DB Host, also checked the Authentication Unique Keys but still failing.

  • Hi,

    Check with these options:

-> Disable all the plugins and enable it one by one to find out the culprit.
-> Remove unwanted code from htaccess file
-> upgrade your wordpress to the latest version
-> make sure that you have set the proper permalink in permalink settings.

    Thanks,

    Shane G.

All Plugins are desabled from the start of the installation.

The WordPress vertion is updated… 2.8.4

It is possible to use the htaccess from the installation files? like a clean htaccess in order to remove unwanted code?

How do i make sure about the proper permalink settings?
