I recently upgraded to 2.9.1. I am running under Mac Snow Leopard and am using Sqlite (with PDO for WordPress).

Since upgrading I have been getting messages like
"Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /Library/WebServer/Documents/wp-content/pdo/PDOEngine.php on line 437" while loading the plugins in the admin section, and at various other times.

I tried to do a wp-admin/maint/repair.php and the error message directed me to the Support Forum.
    Error Messages

    • The wp_users table is not okay. It is reporting the following error: . WordPress will attempt to repair this tableā€¦
Failed to repair the wp_users table. Error:

This message is repeated for each table

Some database problems could not be repaired. Please copy-and-paste the following list of errors to the WordPress support forums to get additional assistance.

    wp_users:
    wp_usermeta:
    wp_posts:
    wp_comments:
    wp_links:
    wp_options:
    wp_postmeta:
    wp_terms:

The site is working, but very slowly. What do I need to do?

I upgraded plugin PDO-for-Wordpress to version 2.7.0. All error messages have disappeared and the site is working flawlessly.
Thanks to developer Justin Adi for the plugin that allows the use of SQLite instead of MySQL. It is easy to install and did not require any changes in the rest of the site. I recommend it highly.
