   As soon as I tried to run the automatic upgrade, I got this fail message:

   Downloading update from http://wordpress.org/wordpress-2.8.4.zip.

   Download failed.: Could not create Temporary file

   Installation Failed
   ===========

   What does this mean?

   Aha! Found out it was a space-exceeded problem. Who knew!

   A bit more information in the error messages would be nice.
