WP 2.7 Dashboard Config for all Users (4 posts)

I just upgraded to WP 2.7 and everything seems to be working well except I cannot figure out how to customize the dashboard for all users.

For example, I don't want anyone to see Plugins, WordPress Development Blog, or Other WordPress News. I know how to disable it for a specific account when logged in to it but not for all users.

Can someone tell me how to do this or what plug-in I need? Dashboard Editor does not work for 2.7.

    Thanks,

    Hello,

I've been trying to solve the same problem and came up with a solution. The problem is that it involves hard coding.

    My solution is here: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/236006?replies=2

In my opinion there is no way that you could do the same thing with a plugin. There is simply no hook that could be used.

You can give Adminimize and CMS-Post Control a try to see if this will get you the desired functionality.

Depending on what you need/want to do, you may need both plugins.

Let us know how that works out for you.
