   Ok, so this has got to be one of the stranger issues I have seen - its like the site is loading the CSS of the theme once and then on refresh it does not, then refresh again and its fine. If I switch to the wordpress default theme everything is fine - but if I use the new K2 theme this problem occurs - I've also disabled all plugins except Akismet.

   Thoughts?

   update, since I haven't had any insight to this I've grabbed another theme for the time being.
