Help! I re-installed v2.2.2, and the install went fine. db is linked in config.php. But the db is blank - there are no categories, posts, pages, nothing! Just the samples that come with Kubrick. Where did all my stuff go? I have attached the new installation to the same db name. I thought it would have the content too?

Did you make a backup of your database?
Re-installing WP over an existing database usually means that you over-wrote (=wiped out) your old content. Sorry to bring the bad news... -
Actually, WordPress' install.php process won't overwrite old tables if they are there.
Now, if you deleted and recreated the database, then yeah, you erased your content.
Look at the database with phpMyAdmin. See if you find your data in there.
