2.2.2 - too many features, but engine can't do some simple operations!!!!

    What the fuck, guys?!

    1) Very bad uploading inmages - too buggly, bug images, uploaded, but thumbnails not generated, because script halts (my php.ini tunes properly).

    2) If image exists - it overwrites!!!!!!!!!! But thumbanail be from old image... This is a two bugs at once!!!

    What the HELL!!!

Not happy with WP? try WP Trac please submit your bug report there. No need for offensiveness or rudeness.

nwtarr, I can relate. Gets to the point you just want to curse.
From a fresh install, 2.2.2 spat out a host of error messages. I had to post for help. This is a fresh instal, you understand? Now I can't upload images into my posts like I could before. I get this error:

The uploaded file could not be moved to /home/cecon46/public_html/whatsmellssogood/wp-content.
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/cecon46/public_html/whatsmellssogood/wp-admin/admin-functions.php:1986) in /home/cecon46/public_html/whatsmellssogood/wp-includes/functions.php on line 1357

But wait, the story doesn't end here. All of a sudden and without me having done anything, one of the new blogs started to work (uploading images). But the other one still gets this message. I am beyond stumped.

Contact the host, ask them what changed, ask them to make the same change for your other blog. I promise that WP didn't "morph", something else must've changed :-)

Yes, you are absolutely right. It was the fault of my host and now it's fixed.

I thank you all for your patience.
