   Hey guys,

   I just upgraded my WordPress 2.0.4 to 2.1.1. I followed the procedure stated here.

   So at first everything seems quite normal. But when I try to post new stuff, the editor behaves all weird. I can't see the code and when I'm done writing the news everything but the content is send to my upgraded database.

   This happens using both my browser IE7 and FireFox 2.0.0.2. Using IE7, I even encounter the error "Stack overflow at line: 500".

   Dones anyone know what's going on here?

   I'd really appreciate your help since I'm now blogging via phpMyAdmin.

   What versions of MySQL and PHP does your server run?

   PHP 4.4.4 and MySQL 4.0.27

   This is a good sign that the javascript files you have are somehow bad or corrupt or something.

   -Clear your browser caches.
   -Disable any plugins and look for any other copies of javascript and scriptaculous code lying around on your site.
   -Double, and triple, check that that files in wp-includes/js got uploaded to your site correctly.
   -Quadruple check that while you're at it.

   Javascript errors are happening to a lot of people. This is because a lot of plugins included a lot of javascript in the past which is now interfering with WordPress. This is also because people are not uploading the WordPress javascript to their site correctly. It's hard to say exactly what the problem is on every single site, because it's not actually a problem within WordPress itself.

   You'll have to look at your site and determine where the fault is.

   That's it, thank you very much!

   prototype.js and scriptaculous.js located in my theme's folder messed everything up. Works for now but I guess I'm gonna check for some newer themes around.
