WP 2.0.4 – Visual rich editor not available

    Hi all.

    A while ago I upgraded from WP 1.5.2 to WP 2.0.3. I had previously disabled the Visual Rich Editor because I preferred to write in HTML only, but now I want to enable it again.

    So I went to my own profile options and enabled it, but it doesn’t show. The standard plain editor with quicktags only is available. So I upgraded to 2.0.4 and it still doesn’t work.

    The “Users should use Visual Rich Editor by default” option is checked and so is the “Use Visual Rich Editor” option in my personal profile.

    Just wondering what I can do to fix this. I am guessing it is a database issue because when I upgraded to 2.0.4, I copied and pasted the entire contents of the archive into my htdocs folder and overwrote every existing file.

    I have the exact same problem. My word press is fresh-installed but it doesn’t show visual rich editor.
    Anybody has a solution?

    I have the same problem… No visual editor is showing up on a fresh installation.

    Version 2.0.4
    Server : Solaris 10 with Apache 1.3x and PHP 4.x

    Can anybody help !!

    What OS and Browser are we using?
