• I installed the most recent version of SMF, and tried to bridge the data using the WP & SMF Bridge Plugin. It completely blew out the site. I had to delete the plug in files to restore it.

The error is below. One thing that hit me immediately is the ALL CAP directory WP_SMF. My linux server is case sensitive, and if it is calling it that way, wouldn’t that cause the failure? I tried making the name all caps but it would not activate.

Warning: main(/home/admin/domains/mydomain.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/WP_SMF/smf_api_1.1.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/admin/domains/mydomain.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp_smf/wp_smf.php on line 384

Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/admin/domains/mydomain.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/WP_SMF/smf_api_1.1.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/admin/domains/mydomain.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp_smf/wp_smf.php on line 384
