Hello! I am working on a gallery website.

I was wondering if custom post types would be the best way to deal with this type of situation?

To help explain, here is how the content will be arranged.

    Exhibit 1
    -- exhibit logo
    -- exhibit description
    -- location 1
    --- photo
    --- about
    --- catalog
    --- gallery
    --- venue
    -- location 2
    --- photo
    --- about
    --- catalog
    --- gallery
    --- venue
    Exhibit 2
    -- exhibit logo
    -- exhibit description
    -- location 1
    --- photo
    --- about
    --- catalog
    --- gallery
    --- venue
    -- location 2
    --- photo
    --- about
    --- catalog
    --- gallery
    --- venue

What I want to do for the front page is this display the following from the latest exhibit only.

    Sidebar
    -- logo
    -- description
-- link list of all locations
    Main Content
    -- location 1 photo
-- excerpt and link to location 1: about
-- excerpt and link to location 1: catalog
-- excerpt and link to location 1: gallery
-- excerpt and link to location 1: venue

Yes, custom post types would be an ideal solution with custom fields of course.

    Some useful links:
