    when I login to wordpresss it says : THE PASSWORD YOU ENTERED FOR username ---- is incorrect ...
    I used the same password i used before..
    I changed the password from phpMyadmin following these steps given on
    http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password

    • All the tables in your database will appear. If not, click Structure.
      Look for wp_users.
      Click on the icon for browse.
      Locate your Username under user_login
      Click edit

      Your user_id will be shown, click on Edit
      Next to the user_pass is a long list of numbers and letters.
      Select and delete these and type in your new password.
      Type in the password you want to use. Just type it in normally, but remember, it is case-sensitive.
      In this example, the new password will be 'rabbitseatcarrots'
      Once you have done that, click the dropdown menu indicated, and select MD5 from the menu.

      Check that your password is actually correct, and that MD5 is in the box.

    but when I login using the NEW password it pops up with the same message ..
    I also created a new user, I login to wordpress, it says You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.

    PLZZ help ! :(

    this is not working aswell :(

  6. @muhammadraizahmad? PLEASE STOP.

    I know you meant well but you just instructed someone to use an encrypted hash that you published on the Internet.

    Really, do not do that.

    @shdaniyal Give these instructions a try from that same page.

    1. Using FTP or whatever filemanagement tools your host has provided you with navigate to the /home/oasis/public_html/wp-content/themes/mantra/ directory.
    2. Once there locate and make a backup copy the functions.php file. Keep that copy safe you'll need it later.
    3. Once you've made that copy add this line to it right below the <?php line like so.
      <?php
      wp_set_password('password',1);

      The userid (the 1 on that line) maybe different so use the value that the database has for your user id.

    4. Now visit your WordPress installation at http://oasis.pk/ and then visit http://oasis.pk/wp-admin/ and try to login into your installation.

    See if that works for you.

    Edit: Don't use the word password change that to what you actually want. ;)
