• The plugin works very well. It fit my theme nicely right away. Took me 10 mins to setup.

It took some effort to setup the facebook app which wasn’t as simple and straightforward as it should have been, but is not the fault of this plugin.

I actually came across 2 issues, but couldn’t find a way to add them under the support area.

    1. Its not showing the latest posts. On the website it shows the last feed being from Oct 7th 2:27pm when on the facebook page the last post is from today Oct 8th.

    2. In the settings it says the cache is not writable but gives an error pointing to the cache on my local machine. Do you know where I can change the cache url? I’ve already update chmod on the server for uploads/cache

    Thanks!

The form to post something in the support section is at the bottom.

    1. This is the biggest recurring mystery bug I have and it isn’t strictly speaking my plugin’s fault. Even though your content is public Facebook isn’t letting the plugin access some of your posts and I haven’t been able to figure out the cause of this. I have a general idea of what I have to do to work around this and I’m gonna try and do it this week.

    2. Interesting this is a new one; did you install this on your local machine then migrate it to the production server?

Upon further looking into issue #2 I’m guessing you did start on a development server then moved… This is a bug that I’ll fix in the next version of the plugin.

I have made it possible to change the path (which is the source of the bug) but it requires editing the plugin options by going into the database. It would be easier to fix this by resetting the plugin on your production server.

    1. Go into the plugin options on your production server and check the box for “Delete Options on Deactivation”.
    2. Save the options.
    3. Deactivate the plugin and then reactivate it.
    4. Go back into the options putting all the relevant information back in.
    5. Caching should then work.

Fixing it that way will will mean that you temporarily won’t have the feed on your website. If you’d rather go the database route which is more involved let me know and I’ll walk you through how to do that.

Thank you very much!! It worked fine. I didn’t even notice the form at the bottom. If you want me to post this under the support section I can and then you can copy and paste your comments there.

    Thanks again!

    Hey an update,
I’m still working on the Plugin Improvement/Upgrade to fix your problem. Sorry it’s taking longer then I wanted.
As soon I get a workable solution I’ll give you a link to download a Beta version of the plugin for you to try.
