Most of the time when I try to blog while using Firefox 3.16 on my Ubuntu Linux system, wordpress simply hangs. If I wait several minutes I may be able to get on, or maybe not. I do not have this problem when I use a windows computer and explorer. very frustrating. anybody else have this problem? Nobody I know seems to be able to help.

Posted 1 year ago #are you using a local testing server to develop a wordpress site or are you connecting to a live site out on the interwebs?
if it's a live site and it's hanging i'd reckon that's a compatibility issue to do with the versions of FF and Ubuntu that you're using. the latest version of each might not be fully compatible yet...
if it's not that then it'll be some kind of server issue and then you're going to have to talk to your hosting people.
