Works perfectly and has saved me heaps of time

One small wish for a future enhancement … it would be great if the plugin checked the settings for comments in Dashboard > Settings > Discussion. When comments are turned off, and a page is being converted to a post, then the post should not have comments allowed by default.

I am converting from pages to posts, and it is a bit of a nuisance to have to remember to turn comments off for each post. But that is a small thing compared to the convenience of using this plugin. Many thanks to the author.
