   So I have been working on a web page locally using MAMP and a WordPress theme called Thesis. I have been going trough a tutorial from Lynda.com where it explains the whole process of uploading it using FileZilla and drag and drop over after I created and connected to the site.

   The problem is even though I followed all the instructions correctly the installation process won't start when I go in to the domain in the browser. All the folder just comes up as list directories.

   Does anyone know what the problem might be? I think it might be that I have put in some wrong information in the wp-config.php file.

   There is something seriously wrong with your server. Is it even running PHP?

   yeah I got this up so apparently there is something wrong with the PHP.. I'll have to read trough all the articles there. Thanks Esmi :)

   I talked to the host provider and it seems that I need to change my server to a different one since this one does not have PHP installed or functional.

    Thanks for the tip. I changed the hosting to one that supported PHP functionality and that resolved the issue..
