   I am new to the world of WordPress and first off I am incredibly impressed. Such a great tool.

   But what I want to achieve is to have the option to switch the index.php from the blog to a static page created with the template.

   Does anyone know of a plugin that would allow me to switch the index.php around?

   Creating_a_Static_Front_Page

   but there is an easer way using this plugin
