A really strange thing just started happening to me.
I have a page called "Photos", which I use as one of my menu pulldowns on my navigation bar. Various photo galleries are sub-menus of "Photos", and you see them just fine when you float the cursor over 'photos' in the navigation bar.
Everything was working fine until today. Now, every single time that I use the word "photos" in anything: be it a blog, a page, etc...it now links the word 'photos' to my Photos page.
Looking in the HTML view shows no coding whatsoever associated with the word.
I tried changing the name of the page to "Photo Galleries". Sure enough, whenever the word 'photos' appears in a post or page, it no longer linked to the "Photos" page. HOWEVER, just as a test, I tried inserting the words "photo galleries" into a blog post, and BAM! The words "photo galleries" become a link to the newly re-named page called "Photo Galleries"!
I'm stumped.
Is there some sort of WordPress feature where you can simply type a word and it'll automatically link to something? If so, I somehow activated it on this page.
But then again I even deleted the page, started a new one from scratch, and it is still doing it.
Has anyone ever seen this before?
Oh...and to make it even weirder, it's not doing it on every page that the word "photos" appears on. That's what is REALLY driving me up the wall.
Here's the examples:
A page where it IS doing it: http://strangeways.co/?page_id=1054
A page where it ISN'T doing it: http://strangeways.co/?page_id=684
I hope someone else has seen this before and has some ideas.
Thanks!
