    Server Error
    500 - Internal server error.
There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.

So i checked the database, and it seems some or all tables were created... I can go to /wp-admin/ and i see there is a login, but I have no idea what the password is as it is probably encrypted and then placed to the database.

Anyone have any idea why the second page of the install wont work? BTW, if i just go to where the main wordpress directory is "/wordpress/" i get as well:

    Server Error
    500 - Internal server error.
There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.

    -----------------------------------------------

If i cant get this issue solved, does anyone know where i can get a older copy of wordpress, and perhaps i can try upgrading it? Thx.

Is this on a IIS server?

You could try a search on a internet search engine for:

500 - Internal server error. There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.

probably best to drop all tables in database and install again

I've fixed this before by going into db with phpmyadmin and edit the site url's to be correct
    http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL#Changing_the_URL_directly_in_the_database

then while you're there reset the admin password to what you want
