WordPress.org won't host my plugin? (5 posts)

I submitted a plugin to be hosted by WordPress.org using the form at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/add/ on the 17th August, 2008.

I've yet to receive any sort of instruction, SVN details or rejection.

Is this feature somewhat dead or are plugin submissions no longer being accepted?

you havent waited nearly that long to jump to so many conclusions. Plugins can take quite a while to get approved. This place runs on volunteers.

    relax.

    Thanks for the response whooami.

I realise now my original post is more pessimistic than I had intended it to sound. I posted a similar topic in the plugins thread a week or so ago and didn't receive any replies, hence the somewhat melancholy mood.

Blame it on my over-enthusiasm or the afternoon coffee.

I saw that post -- I ignored it, on purpose :>

Its a long process, not because theres a lot of vetting (I don't think) but because people have lives.

    No worries.

I also didn't realise plugins were manually reviewed by humans. Too used to everything in WordPress appearing automated these days :)
