I signed up for an account from the WordPress.org Plugins page thinking account details were shared across other areas of wordpress.org, but logging into the support forum seems to log me out of the plugins area. Is this by design?

Try logging out from the plugin and forum areas, then log back in to the forum using the name/password combo you set up when you logged into the plugin area.
That might get it working correctly.
But in general yes I believe it to be one login for all.

Posted 1 year ago #Thanks for the advice. I was signing in and out of the different sections like a mad man to no avail. I walked away for a while then tried again and it seemed to right itself.
