    Hello Everybody,

I just noticed that if you enter wordpress.org via https://wordpress.org you get a valid https certificate and the website shows but it looks a little funny. That is probably because there are some resources that are implemented via http requests, which get ignored by some browsers (at least Chrome does that). Here is a list:

The page at https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tags/test ran insecure content from http://s.wordpress.org/style/wp4.css?27.
The page at https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tags/test ran insecure content from http://s.wordpress.org/style/iphone.css.
The page at https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tags/test ran insecure content from http://s.wordpress.org/style/forum-wp4.css?11.
The page at https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tags/test ran insecure content from http://s.wordpress.org/extend/extend-themes/plugins/style-wp4.css?m=1342476347.
The page at https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tags/test ran insecure content from http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins-plugins/bb-ratings/bb-ratings.css?4.
The page at https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tags/test ran insecure content from http://s.wordpress.org/wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js.
The page at https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tags/test ran insecure content from http://edge.quantserve.com/quant.js.
The page at https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tags/test ran insecure content from http://s.gravatar.com/js/gprofiles.js.
The page at https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tags/test ran insecure content from http://s.wordpress.org/style/forum-wp4.css?11.
The page at https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tags/test ran insecure content from http://s.wordpress.org/extend/extend-themes/plugins/style-wp4.css?m=1342476347.
The page at https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tags/test ran insecure content from http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins-plugins/bb-ratings/bb-ratings.css?4.
The page at https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tags/test ran insecure content from http://s.wordpress.org/wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js.
The page at https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tags/test displayed insecure content from http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins-plugins/bb-ratings/stars.png?19.
The page at about:blank displayed insecure content from http://www.facebook.com/plugins/like.php?app_id=121415197926116&href=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fwordpress&send=false&layout=button_count&width=150&show_faces=false&action=like&colorscheme=light&font=lucida+grande&height=21.
The page at about:blank displayed insecure content from http://platform.twitter.com/widgets/follow_button.html?screen_name=WordPress&show_count=false.
The page at https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tags/test ran insecure content from http://edge.quantserve.com/quant.js.
The page at https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tags/test ran insecure content from http://s.gravatar.com/js/gprofiles.js.

I would love to see this fixed (since wordpress.org already has a https certificate that should be not that hard todo).

    Best Regards,

    Chris

This has been noted as a bug,

    http://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/22811

It has yet to draw the attention of anyone who can do anything about it though.

Thanks, I did not know that. I think it should be not so hard to fix. But it is good that it is rightfully reported already. I just did not know that there was a way to do it.

    Resolved ;-)
