wordpressmu running, now i want to add more

    really stupid question here.

    running the latest version of wordpressmu, i have a empty site for example at http://corporate

    now i want to add

    http://corporate/ideas
    http://corporate/gallery
    etc…..

    for each site i want, it has to meet the following, correct ?:

    1. be a standalone wordpress installation correct?

    2. they will each have their own database, username, pass, etc…

    will they ingerate with the MU so at anytime the user can go back to the root? or do i have to manually create the links in each blog ?
