Hi I started a blog on wordpress.com I bought the name (roxyrockstv.com) but I just realize that I cannot have ads or plugins because I should had installed wordpress.org. My friend owns http://strictlyforthedancefloor.com/ but she has plugins and ads how is it possible? thank u 🙂

I read it but still I’m wondering how come http://strictlyforthedancefloor.com/ is not with wordpress.org but it has ads and plugins 🙁

the linked site is not with WordPress.com;

the site uses WordPress.org and seems to be self-hosted.

As Alchymyth said, it looks like your friends site (strictlyforthedancefloor) uses the self hosted version of WordPress, also know as .org. You can still have ads and plugins (you actually have a lot more flexibility overall) with a self hosted install.
