WordPress.com Stats problem

    Hi
    I am using wordpress stats plugin and it says it is not suppose to be counting my own visits to my site (and I do not want it to) but I know it is because it adds up the amount of time I have checked the blog entry before I have even posted it- so I know it can only be me-is there any way I can fix this?
